State of the Nation's Ecosystem Comments and Discussion Forum 

Thank you for visiting The State of the Nation’s Ecosystems web site. We encourage you to share your reactions, comments, suggestions, and criticisms with The Heinz Center and with other readers of the report.  These comments will be monitored by Heinz Center staff and will contribute to our planning for the preparation of the next State of the Nation’s Ecosystems, scheduled for completion in 2007.

You can participate in this forum in three ways: 

1. You can post comments to the discussion forum. These comments will be visible to other readers, who will have the opportunity to react to or elaborate on your initial comment. In doing so, you begin what is known as a “discussion thread” which may involve many other participants. To post a comment, select one of the topic areas under the heading “Post Comments’ below.

2. You can read comments that others have posted.  By selecting a topic from the “View Comments” section below, you can see what comments have been submitted, and if you choose, respond with your own comments.

3. You can send a note directly to the Heinz Center staff. If you wish to provide comments that are not posted publicly, you may do so by sending a comment to “info@heinzctr.org”.

All comments will be monitored by The Heinz Center. We will remove any comments that are found to be offensive or otherwise inappropriate, but will not generally respond to individual comments.
