Change in Stream Flows Working Group
In order to elevate the importance of water in the report, the Change in Stream Flows Working Group was convened to design a new core national indicator that will describe stream flow changes across all major ecosystems. The group will also review the ecosystem-level indicator that is related to Stream Flows (Number and Duration of Dry Periods in Streams and Rivers – Grasslands and Shrublands chapter). The Working Group is charged with defining the variables to be covered, and with selecting a baseline for comparison of data.
