Position: Program Assistant
The Program Assistant to the Senior Science and Policy Fellow / Program Director is responsible for providing senior-level administrative support to the Senior Science and Policy Fellow / Program Director; managing a wide variety of activities and confidential assignments; managing the Senior Science and Policy Fellow / Program Director’s schedule, travel and external commitments; serving as liaison to staff and external constituents; facilitating internal and external communications from the Senior Science and Policy Fellow / Program Director, including screening incoming calls and regular interaction with both internal and external audiences; and conducting special projects, as assigned. The Program Assistant ensures the efficient operation of the Institute and the Senior Science and Policy Fellow / Program Director’s adequate preparation for all internal and external commitments and projects.

Position: Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities of one or more of the Center’s ongoing projects or programs. This position will be responsible for planning and implementing a series of workshops on performance measures for wildlife conservation activities in the western United Sates. The purpose of these workshops is to assist the U. S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and its state wildlife agency partners in developing systems for monitoring wildlife populations and evaluating the effectiveness of wildlife conservation activities.

Position: Vice President of Finance and Administration / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
The Vice President of Finance and Administration / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is an integral part of The Heinz Center’s executive management team, directs and supervises the organization’s financial, human resources, office administration, and IT functions. The VP of F &A/CFO will provide support and leadership to the President and senior staff on critical decisions that affect the growth and financial stability of the organization. The VP of F&A /CFO identifies and implements best practices, solves business challenges, and ensures that The Heinz Center is operating with the best financial information.
